As a blogger one of my favorite things to create is a Style Video. What is a style video? It is a fun way to share a few different ways to style one piece.
One of the biggest questions I get…. “Can you teach my how to create a style video?”
So, here we are! I am going to walk you through how to create your own Style Video. I promise it is easy!
Step 1 – Pick A Piece To Style
Pick an item to style and style it a few different ways. For this post I am styling a Leopard Cami several different ways using a few different transitions from one look to the next.
Step 2 – Videoing
Decide which look you want to start with. Have that outfit on and video yourself in it. Before you end the video figure out how you want to transition into the next outfit. For example, snap your fingers, jump, spin, slide out, pull “off”, and so much more. Once you know how you want to end it you will start the next look to work with that ending. Continue doing this until your last look. Once you are done end you video in some way so that your followers know that is the last look.
Step 3 – Combine and Edit the videos
Here you will combine all the videos into one and edit them so they transition together well. I personally use VIVAVideo and walk you through how in this video. This video should also help you understand how to do the transitions.
Step 4 – Post your Style Video
Just like that you have created a style video and now its time to post it to whatever social media you prefer! Keep in mind that there may be some guidelines to follow to post to certain social medias. Some social media will not let you use music that has a copyright. IGTV videos must be 1-15 minutes. TIKTOK videos you want to be 15 seconds – a minute. So, just make sure before you post you know that guidelines.
I truly hope this helps you create the Style Video you have been wanting to make! Don’t forget to tag me @tuttlepartyof5 if you post it on Instagram! I would love to see what you style! If you find this helpful, please share it! Also, don’t hesitate to ask me any questions!
