Morning of day 3…. was a butt kicker! I was lacking any get up an go. You know after a night of drinking as an adult it takes you more than a day to recover…. Well it felt like day 2 of that recovery.
Breakfast
You will never guess what I had…. Eggs and bacon! Yep! The same thing I had day 2…. luckily I am not sick of them yet….
After some coffee and breakfast I was feeling a bit more like myself but still dragging booty.
Lunch
Lunch was a Southwest Egg Scramble. It had peppers, onions, crumbled back, everything but the bagel seasoning, and 4 eggs. I then topped it with homemade guacamole and Frank Hot Sauce. It was surprisingly feeling!
As the day progressed I continued to feel better and better.
Dinner
Let’s talk about dinner! Dinner was another winner out of the Whole30 Fast & Easy Cookbook . It was Skillet Pork Chops with Sweet Potatoes & Greek Slaw. It was relatively fast, easy, and it was delicious. I found the recipe here for you! This is one that even off Whole30 we will be making!
I did splurge again and have an apple with almond butter…. I know its not the perfect Whole30 but it was compliant and just what I needed.
Sleep
Man, I thought I slept hard end of day 2…. day 3 sleep was seriously amazing! I can’t explain it other than I am eating things that are easy for my body to digest and because of that my body is able to really rest!
